Phase III Environmental Site Assessments (ESA),

Also known as "remediation" or "corrective action", Phase III Remediation is a full blown environmental site clean up.
Prior to conducting any remedial activities, a corrective action plan (CAP) is developed for review by the regulatory agency. Some important aspects of Phase III or corrective action include the following:
- Proposed Corrective Action - Conceptual Design
- Remediation/Numerical Endpoint
- Project Implementation Schedule
- Monitoring Schedules
- Site Closure
Many technologies are available today to deal with environmental contamination including source removal, pump and treat, bioremediation (enhanced natural attenuation), just to name a few.
Environmental remediation must be conducted with regulatory agency oversight. It is important to choose the right environmental firm to implement any corrective measures because regulatory negotiations are an integral part of obtaining the final "No Further Action (NFA)" designation, which is filed with local and state agencies for the property.
